Cozy Knits & Simple Layers
The weather is finally starting to get awfully cold (single digits!) as we near the end of October and I’m finding myself having to layer up much more than usual.
This layered look was yesterday’s outfit as we ventured into Toronto to wander around downtown, vintage shop and mostly to get outside while the sun was out!
I’ve had this Soia & Kyo Wool Vest (I’ve linked their current vest from their site) for a couple seasons now and it’s the perfect transitional piece during the Fall months. I often break it out in the Spring too, due it’s versatile colour. It’s easy to pair with so many tops.
(Shop a very similar Zara Belted Vest for $99!)
My Piperwest Marble Minimalist Watch and Drake General Store Mary-Kate & Ashley Enamel Pins were also the perfect addition to this outfit. My denim are vintage Levi’s, found at Public Butter in Parkdale, Toronto. I thrifted them this past week and I’m in love with the high waisted, boyfriend fit and cropped leg.
The chunky knit I’m wearing is from Gap and I’ve linked a similar one here because this one is currently sold out.
Side note: Anyone else absolutely love thrift shopping?! I find some of my most unique pieces at thrift shops. You can’t go in looking for anything and you have to be in the mood for sifting through different categories (and don’t be afraid to look a few sizes up from your regular size - I find some of my favourite oversized pieces that way!)
